Sean Gray

Sean Grey first entered the kink community as a photographer.  After viewing an exhibition on the work of Robert Mapplethorpe in college, he became curious about leather and bondage photography, primarily as a visual metaphor.  Many years later, bored with his own work and seeking to actually express himself, he consulted with a well known foot-fetish photographer who challenged Sean to be honest about what his obsessions were and to allow the power of those obsessions to fuel his work.  After a few conversations with a bondage model and kinkster, he realized that many of the experiences and understandings that he was seeking were available in the kink and leather communities.  At that point he threw himself headlong into learning as much as possible, playing as often as possible, and documenting the voyage with his camera.  Sean's obsessions are ropes, whips, and just about anything else that makes delicious noises, such as flaming whips and girls crying.  He is a proud product of the youth outreach groups TNG and Fresh Leather and although he is no longer age-qualified, he continues to be a strong supporter of such groups.  Sean is a member and sometimes presenter at DFW Bound, and runs the 4th Wednesday Glamour and Fetish photography night at Sanctuary for the Lifestyle arts in Dallas, Texas.

Erotic Photography:  Shooting your scenes

This class is intended to convert the curious, inspire the intermediate, and dialog with the advanced.    I hope to help you get in touch with your inner shutterslut/auteur and help you find a way to capture your fantasies and document your play.  We will show three different levels of shooting a scene, one that costs less than $100, and is fairly easy to assemble, one for $300 that is within the reach of most, and finally a fully professional shoot.  Most importantly there will be a question and answer time for those that have some information, but are curious about something specific.
